Negotiation
These three modules focus on developing the interpersonal skills needed to lead and manage people effectively. They cover emotional intelligence and relationship-building, Transactional Analysis and communication and negotiation and conflict resolution, helping learners communicate effectively, understand others, manage challenging situations and build positive, productive working relationships.
This course includes the following modules:
This module explores the key skills and attributes needed for effective leadership and management, with a focus on emotional intelligence, communication, active listening, empathy and building positive working relationships. It develops self-awareness and social competencies to help leaders manage conflict, motivate and support others, adapt to different situations and build stronger, more effective teams.
Transactional Analysis (TA), developed by Dr. Eric Berne, explores how people communicate through three ego states: Parent, Adult, and Child. This module explains how recognising these states can improve communication, empathy and workplace relationships, including how to avoid ineffective or “crossed” transactions and use positive recognition to motivate and support others.
This module explores effective negotiation as a way of resolving disagreements, maintaining positive relationships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes. It develops key skills such as communication, active listening, problem-solving, conflict management, assertiveness and clarification.
By the end of the course, learners will be better equipped to negotiate effectively in a range of business situations, improve collaboration, and build confidence in challenging conversations. This course is certified by the Institute of Productivity, providing participants with a recognised credential that supports their professional development and leadership capability.
