Change Management
These four modules explore the principles and practical processes involved in planning, implementing and sustaining organisational change. They cover stakeholder engagement, resistance management, RACI and quick wins, change models such as Kotter’s Eight-Step Process, and the evaluation of change, while examining how agile structures, collaboration and effective teamwork can support continuous improvement and successful organisational transformation.
This course includes the following modules:
This module explores the structured management of organisational change, from identifying and consulting stakeholders through to planning, defining responsibilities, training, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. It also examines the use of RACI matrices and planned ‘quick wins’ to clarify accountability, build stakeholder confidence, demonstrate progress and maintain momentum towards the desired future state.
This module explores how to establish a clear foundation for organisational change by defining the project, purpose, required changes and people affected using the 4P framework. It examines why individuals may resist change, the common signs and causes of resistance and the different emotional and behavioural responses people may experience.
This module explores practical approaches to managing resistance to organisational change, including effective communication, stakeholder involvement, training, support and the use of Gleicher’s Formula to assess readiness for change. It introduces Kotter’s Eight-Step Change Model and the Future State approach, helping organisations build urgency, establish a shared vision, achieve early successes, overcome barriers and embed sustainable change within organisational culture.
This module explores how organisations evaluate the success of change initiatives, while recognising the importance of learning from both successful and unsuccessful outcomes. It examines how agile organisational structures, technology, collaboration and effective teamwork can help organisations adapt continuously, reduce resistance to change and embed improvement into everyday business activity.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to confidently support organisational change initiatives, communicate change with clarity and empathy, identify and address resistance, and lead teams through transitions in a structured and productive way. Managers will also develop a stronger understanding of leadership adaptability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement practices that contribute to long-term organisational resilience.
This course is certified by the Institute of Productivity, providing participants with a recognised credential that demonstrates their capability to lead and support change effectively within modern business environments.
